Always into trying new things, I accepted a commission to paint 6 pairs of custom Chuck Taylor shoes for a groom’s wedding party which were to be worn with the tuxedoes on the wedding day. Every groomsman had a different criteria, so each shoe was truly unique. I worked with the groom to determine the subject for each shoe, sent sketches, and then hand painted each one to be delivered before the wedding. The shoe themes were:
Zelda, Mac Miller, Batman, Black Power, Steelers/Braves, Corduroy Bear
