Russell was born of the success of Peggy. When I saw how much people liked the pigeon I decided to make her a companion piece so she wouldn’t be lonely, enter: Russell Crow (no relation). For him I went for more of a mobster look to fit Peggy’s general vibe. I had a grand time fooling around with the color scheme and adding little splashes and color effects to this painting.
