The True Meaning of Easter

2018 - 36x60” Acrylic and spray paint on canvas.

This was yet another painting which started as an idea that made me chuckle: What does the Easter Bunny do in the offseason? Luckily for me, my little brother is generously will to model for me - all I had to do was buy a bunny onesie!

For the patterns on the back I used cardboard stencil cutouts that I designed and put into repeating patterns.

This original painting is 16x20” acrylic on canvas - I painted it in the spring of 2021, but not quite in time for an Easter release. Or even an Easter ‘22 release, as it turned out!
