This started out as a portrait of Neil Armstrong that slowly, but surely, evolved into this weird color shifted image of an astronaut. I had been on a sci-fi kick and watched a bunch of space movies (2001: A Space Odyssey, Interstellar, etc) and decided to go for a trippier version of space. I also did a little bit of experimenting with colors and adding that trippy color shift (black in the middle, with blue on one side and red on the other, it gives it an out of focus appearance).

I also made a point of filming this one so that I could piece it together in a video (see below).
