Moment in Time Group Exhibition at the
Irma Freeman Center
This is a group Exhibition I did with fellow Pittsburgh-based emerging artists Lewis Pell, Chris Norman, and Monica aka Ikaros Art. I was very lucky because Lewis decided to try for a gallery show and invited myself and the others to join him, and so we all put in a lot of work to make the show a success. It ran for 2 weeks (and 3 weekends) with opening night on July 14th and closing night on July 28th.
This was my first ever exhibition in a gallery and it was a really eye-opening experience. The people at the Irma Freeman Center were very knowledgeable and super helpful. And Each of us has a different style and we all really meshed well together in the space. We had a tonne (that’s metric) of people on opening night and then again on closing night, and most importantly we had a ton (that’s imperial) of fun!
You just can’t beat showing off your art to people. And when people are so moved that they want to buy something (as was the case here) then it’s even better! There are few things I love more than having my art make someone’s home a little brigher!
