A beautiful sunset plays out behind the ruins of a factory. The factory is based on a real image taken from McKees Rocks, overgrown and rusted out as a reminder of yesteryear. I like to think that it shows the way that nature and industry can interplay, or maybe that nature can only be temporarily subdued.
This giclee is printed onto high quality, fine art paper which is 315gsm (gsm = grams per square meter, it means the paper is thicker/heavier). Almost all of my printing is still taken care of by my friends down at PGH Print Ship, a great local print shop who does fantastic work.
