Visit Jupiter (Interplanetary Travel Poster)
Jupiter is known for being the biggest planet in the solar system, but it’s way more than that! It’s also got the biggest storm in the solar system. That’s right! Jupiter’s great red spot is basically just one continuous hurricane that is actually bigger than earth! This piece shows the spot and striations that are unique to Jupiter.
12 posters available, each inspired while I was in a quarantine-based lockdown while I was working in Saudi Arabia, and dreaming of all the places I wanted to go and see! It started with Mars - then it went to the rest of the planets. And then I thought I might as well just make it an even dozen! All done in the final 6 months of 2020.
This giclée is printed onto high quality, Innova Rough Textured fine art paper which is 315gsm (gsm = grams per square meter, it means the paper is thicker/heavier). Almost all of my printing is still taken care of by my friends down at PGH Print Ship, a great local print shop who does fantastic work.
Prints are all 12x16” including a 1” white border.
